services offices—such as Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration
and Records and Academic Advising—will send you postcards and letters
via postal service. You should pay close attention to the dates noted

When should I apply for financial
aid?
Mail the paper Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the
federal processor or complete the FAFSA
online as soon after January 1 as possible. Evergreen's school code
for financial aid processing is 008155. The priority financial aid deadline
for receiving complete and valid information from the federal processor
is March 15. The online FAFSA is recommended to ensure quick and accurate
processing. This mid-March deadline is important for all new students
regardless of the quarter that you enter Evergreen.
For example: if you are admitted to fall quarter 2010, you will want to make sure that the Office of Financial Aid has your FAFSA results by March 15, 2010. Likewise, if you are admitted to winter quarter 2011, you will want to make sure that your FAFSA results are received by March 15, 2010. And if you are admitted to spring quarter 2011, your FAFSA results are needed by March 15, 2010.
