The Pitchfork Pie Stand is run from the famous American Gothic House in southeast Iowa. Open summer weekends, Beth Howard's homemade pies are available in large, small, and by the slice. The Pitchfork Pie Stand has been featured in Midwest Living, SW Airlines inflight magazine, Country Living, Readers Digest, Real Simple -- and in Evergreen's alumni magazine. Howard is the author of "Making Piece: A Memoir of Love, Loss and Pie" and writes the popular blog, The World Needs More Pie. Stop by and have some pie.
