Sandra Yannone has directed the Writing Center at Evergreen since September, 2001. While supporting countless numbers of writers in cultivating their voices, she continues to try to find hers in her most preferred mediums of poetry and creative non-fiction. She publishes her poetry, book reviews, and non-fiction in journals across the country. She also loves to give reading of her work and discuss her craft, particularly as a lesbian writer.
In addition to these pursuits, she also is the sole proprietor of Kitschlandia, a modest collectibles business that specialized in the best of the worst from the 1950s and 1960s. You can see her wares in person at Finders Keepers Antique Mall on 4th Avenue in Downtown Olympia or visit her virtual shop on Etsy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
