Evergreen Men's Basketball at Southern Oregon 2004

The Southern Oregon University men's basketball team pulled away from a 60-all deadlock with an 8-0 run en route to a 76-66 Cascade Conference victory against The Evergreen State College at McNeal Pavilion tonight.
The Geoducks (6-11, 1-3) lost their fourth straight contest despite receiving a game-high 20 points along with 11 rebounds from senior forward Walter Tucker.
SOU started the game 7-for-8 to take a 17-9 lead and built a 38-30 halftime edge, but a 5-0 Geoduck run tied the game 60-60 with 6:25 left.
The Raiders evened their season record at 6-6 and improved to 3-1 in league play with a trio of impressive performances by Jeff Williams, Brad Coen and Travis Elam.
Williams amassed season-highs of 18 points and 16 rebounds, while Coen scored 18 on 7-for-11 shooting. Meanwhile, Elam came off the bench for 15 points and seven rebounds.
The Raiders shot 43 percent from the field (20 of 47) while limiting TESC to a 35-percent clip (23 of 65).
