OLYMPIA , Wash. -David Howard, a 6'3" guard from Tacoma, Washington has committed to play basketball The Evergreen State College. Head coach Tom Kenna announced the signing today, bringing his first recruiting class to a total of five players comprised of three guards and two forwards.

Howard comes to Evergreen from via Pierce College where the sophomore averaged 12 points and five rebounds per game while shooting eighty percent from the free throw line.

"David is a great addition to our program," said Coach Kenna. "He's a former military man who was stationed just up the road at Fort Lewis.
