Geoducks enjoy comfortable win

November 10, 2006

OLYMPIA , Wash. - Our men's basketball team eased through a 87-40 win over Puget Sound Christian College tonight at home. It was a good opportunity for Coach Tom Kenna to test different team lineups and plays.

PSCC (0-4), coached by Evergreen alum and former men's basketball team member Derrick Pringle Jr., was clearly the underdog as the game progressed. They played a hard game but could not make the shots and the Geoducks forced turnovers in their offensive play.

Adam More, scoring 24 points in just 26 minutes of game play, was the leading scorer for Evergreen. David Howard earned 17 points in his 30 minutes. Devon Conner-Green had an excellent defensive game with 3 steals and 7 defensive rebounds.

Joseph Smith led the Anchors with 9 points in the game.

Evergreen travels to Forest Grove, OR Friday to play Pacific University at 7:30 PM.
