103-72 Win Over Portland Bible Today

OLYMPIA, Wash. - Nathan Menefee scored 31 points in the Geoducks Saturday afternoon 103-72 victory over Portland Bible. The exhibition game marks the second win in a row for ESC as they approach Tuesday night's game with NCAA Div. I Seattle University.

Evergreen made 53% of their field goal attempts in the game to Portland Bible's 37% success rate.

Nick Moore added 22 points with Steve Trotter and Mike Ward each totalling 10 points. Moore and Trotter earned double double games with 10 rebounds each.

Two Portland Bible players scored in the double digits. Cameron Guyton and Austin Hodges each scored 17 points for their team highs.

Evergreen has not played Seattle University since the 2005-2006 season, a game the Geoducks lost 51-29 and has the distinction of being Evergreen's lowest losing score of all time. Seattle U sports switched from NCAA Div. II to Div. I this year.
