Greg Spector came to Evergreen in 2011, taking over the Geoduck volleyball program following three seasons at the helm of the Bridgewater College volleyball team in Bridgewater, Va.

A 1997 graduate of San Diego State University, Spector has extensive volleyball coaching experience ranging from high school to international.  Prior to Bridgewater, he was the assistant women's volleyball coach and recruiting coordinator at NCAA Division I Marshall University, helping the Thundering Herd earn back-to-back trips to the Mid-American Conference finals.  Spector has also coached at Urbana University in Urbana, Ohio and Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis, as well as head women's coach for the U.S. women's national team at the 2008 World Maccabi Games and the 2007 Pan-American Maccabi Games.

Spector played one year of volleyball for the SDSU Aztecs and was also a member of the U.S. Men's National Team for the World Maccabi Games, earning the bronze medal in 1993 and 1997 and a silver medal in 2001.  In addition to his B.S. in Applied Kinesiology from SDSU, Spector also holds a Master of Educaton from Urbana University.
