Geoducks lose in three to EOU

Olympia, WA - Evergreen volleyball dropped its second match of the season Saturday night as the Geoducks fell to host Eastern Oregon University in straight games. Evergreen drops to 0-2 on the season with the loss while Eastern Oregon is now 1-1.

The Geoducks took the Mountaineers to the limit the first two games losing 30-26 and 30-25 respectively, before EOU pulled away in the final game 30-17.

Emily Peterson and Elyse Johnston led the Evergreen attack totaling 17 combined kills. But that wasn't enough as Jana Brotherton, Jennifer Luatua and Keri Brown tallied 10, 12 and 13 kills respectively.

Evergreen has three more matches on the road before returning to the confines of The Evergreen State College September 18 th to play Walla Walla College in a 7:00 p.m. match.
