Warner Pacific passes Evergreen in three
October 28, 2005
Portland, OR - Evergreen saw its conference losing streak extend to eight games as the Geoducks fell to Warner Pacific on the Knights' home court tonight in straight games. Evergreen had downed Warner Pac 3-2 in the first meeting between the teams back in September, but the Geoducks were never really in this contest as the Knights improved to 4-20 overall with the 30-16, 30-23, 30-28 win.
Evergreen, now 2-13 in conference play, was led by Chelsea Jacobson who had five kills on six attempts for an impressive .833 attack percentage. The sophomore setter also recorded 18 assists in the three games.
Evergreen has a chance to snap its skid tomorrow night as the Geoducks travel to conference bottom-dweller Cascade College for a 7:00 p.m. match.
