Evergreen can't find groove in Salem

Salem, OR - The Evergreen Geoducks dropped to 3-4 (5-11 overall) in Cascade Conference play after a 58-81 loss on Friday night to the Corban Warriors (14-3 overall, 5-1 CCC).

Once the Warriors came out with a 7-0 lead the Geoducks couldn't get a lead throughout the rest of the game. Half time brought a 9 point lead for Corban shooting 15-37 to Evergreen's 12-38 from field goal range.

Second half the Geoducks weren't able to catch up with the Warriors and Corban outscored Evergreen 44-30, making the final score of 58-81.

Sophomore, Danielle Keenan, recorded one more double double with a team high 17 points and 10 rebounds. Senior, Dalia Gomez, put up 10 points and Courtnie Wilson along with Katie Floyd helped out with 8 points each.

Evergreen will continue on the road tomorrow night, Saturday the 7th , at 5:30 p.m. in Portland, OR when they battle Concordia University.
