Turnovers cost Evergreen in loss

Caldwell, ID - Albertson College women's basketball team remained perfect in Cascade Conference play with an 88-63 victory over Evergreen in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.
The Yotes had a 14-0 run midway through the opening half as ACI built a 26-8 lead at the nine minute mark. The Geoducks (2-11, 1-4) would get no closer than 12 points the rest of the way.
Eight different Coyotes scored at least eight points in the win, as ACI set a season-high for points scored.
Evergreen was plagued by 39 turnovers on the night, but got a solid performance from Jennifer Solberg, who led all scorers with 20 points and 13 rebounds.
The win for the Lady Yotes (8-5, 4-0 CCC) was their fourth in a row and upped their home record to 5-1 on the season.
Tomorrow night Evergreen plays at Eastern Oregon University in a 5:30 game.
