Olympia, WA - The Evergreen State College defeats Northwest Christian College (Eugene, OR) 61-46 tonight at the Greenhouse. The Geoducks, who looked calm and in control in their win, who led 28-18 at the half, never let the Beacons get closer than 10 points in the second period.

The Geoducks are looking more secure for a Conference playoff spot after the victory. This weekend the team hosts two top-three conference programs.

Head coach Monica Heuer was relieved by the win. "We played close, like a team tonight compared to our last game". Referring to last Tuesday's loss to Northwest University.
