Team Never Finds Rhythm in Conference Loss to Eastern Oregon

Olympia, WA - Keisha McDonald (FR, Lacey, WA) led ESC with 15 points. Overall, the team fell short in their shooting tonight as they lost to the Mounties of EOU 73-49.

Evergreen fell into a funk not long into the first period after a fast paced, back and forth game in which the Geoducks seemed to be holding their own.

For the game, Evergreen shot a mere 34% success rate for field goal attempt. The Mounties bettered that total by 20% more.

In what could be a record low for the team, in three point attempts the team made just 6.7% of their attempts.

Along with McDonald's 15 points she snagged a steal and contributed with 2 assists. Kristi Auckland was the next highest score with 8 points.

For the Mounties, Brianna Smith led all game scorers with 19 points.

Tomorrow Evergreen faces a tough foe in the College of Idaho at 3:00 PM.
