Avoid paying late fees for tuition and housing charges! Sign up for the Evergreen Pre-Payment Installment Plan!
All current students can enroll in the plan.
Enrollment for the 2014-2015 academic year plan begins on July 1, 2014 (payments cover Fall, Winter and Spring quarters only, Summer quarter is not included). Follow steps below to enroll:
- Log on to my.evergreen.edu
- Select 'Web Payment'
- Go to 'Installment Payment Plans' click the link to initialize set-up
- A $40 non-refundable fee is due upon enrollment
A calculator is provided to help you decide how much you will need to cover all three quarters. The calculator lists approved tuition and fee rates for full-time, resident or non-resident, undergraduate or graduate students. It also lists the current price of each mandatory meal plan freshmen (and students with less than 40 credits at the time of admission) are required to purchase when living in campus housing. Voluntary meal plans are purchased directly from Aramark and cannot be included in the installment plan.
Payments will be divided into nine (9) equal installments (less any credits or financial aid payments) as determined when using the calculator. Payments will be due on the 4th of each month with the first payment due on August 4, 2014 and the last due April 4, 2015. Email reminders will be sent 20 days prior to the due date.
If there are changes to your tuition, housing or meal plan charges after you have enrolled in this pre-payment plan the amount of your monthly installment payment may be adjusted accordingly. For example a reduction in credit load may result in a lower tuition charge or a change in meal plan may increase your bill. Please note: Class fees and field trip fee charges may be determined after the start of the quarter so those costs may be assessed on the student account later and will not be included in your initial installment calculation.
All payments must be made by the due date through the payment plan link on your my.evergreen.edu account. You can pay by credit card; Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted (2.75% processing fee applies). For a no cost transaction use 'electronic check' (or e-check) which requires entering your bank routing and account numbers.
Fines and Fees
A payment received 15 days after the due date will be considered late and a $10 fee will be assessed. Two late payments may result in the cancellation of the payment plan and all amounts will be due in accordance with The Evergreen State College published deadlines for the quarter. If those deadlines have passed, payment in full is due immediately. The fee for insufficient or uncollected funds is $25.
