Career Development Center

Resources & Support for Faculty & Staff

As a unit of Student & Academic Support Services (SASS), the Career Development Center is dedicated to helping students clarify their interests, skills, values and motivations, to explore career options that fit, and to develop the professional competencies and connections to make a successful transition to employment or further education. We also assist employers in recruiting Evergreen students and graduates.

While our focus is on helping students, we encourage faculty to utilize our Career Development website, library, and variety of other resources to complement their instructional materials, and we welcome opportunities to make classroom presentations.

Popular presentation topics include:

  • Resume & Cover Letter Writing
  • Interviewing Yourself into a Career
  • Successful Job Search Strategies
  • What Are Employers Really Looking For?
  • Translating Your Academic Experience Into a Career

We are also happy to develop customized presentations to fit the interests and needs of particular groups.
