Spring 2014 quarter
In this intensive writing course, students will learn how to critically evaluate persuasive writing as well as how to reason well in their own persuasive writing. Students will study both formal and informal reasoning, and apply what they learn by responding in writing to arguments drawn from popular and academic sources . Credit will be awarded in philosophy (critical reasoning).
