Clean Energy Committee Award

The Clean Energy Committee is a source of funding for sustainability projects accessible to students, staff and faculty. The committee accepts applications that fit at least one of the following guidelines:

  • Research into renewable energy and conservation technologies that will contribute to advancement of sustainability practices and academics on campus 
  • Implementation of projects intended to save energy, produce electricity or conserve resources
  • Demonstration and education projects that share sustainability strategies with the campus community

Note: Applicants must first discuss their proposal with a CEC board member for their application to be considered. For Spring Quarter 2016, the Clean Energy Committee meets Wednesdays at 5PM at the Big Wooden Table in Student Activities. Appointments can be scheduled for alternate meeting times by e-mailing
