Schedule of Events

Registration continues until noon.

After a gourmet coffee cupping, join one of the many morning sessions. Envision a Mount Rainier eruption, enjoy a retrospective on the Evergreen Student Media Project or look at the future of the organic food movement. Explore inequality and justice in a seminar or film screening, seminar on religion at Evergreen or travel back to the early years of graphic arts at Evergreen.

Gather to meet your fellow alumni to reflect on past years of alumni engagement, what’s happening now, how to get involved, and the Alumni Association.

Enjoy fresh, local, and seasonal food at Evergreen’s Greenery for an informal lunch. Spend some time with current students displaying work from their Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships.

After lunch, join an afternoon session. Get your hands dirty in a workshop at the Organic Farm, explore the challenges and opportunities for marketing the sustainability of your business and sustainability to your community, or draw the unseen sea in a microscopy lab. Envision sustainable infrastructure powering our society or science informing policy to save our wild places. Or let loose and play with the new 3D printers or in the new recording studio.

Join Evergreen President Les Purce for a Red Square gathering with entertainment from local artists and jugglers and maybe even a rousing rendition of the Geoduck Fight Song before heading off to Harvest Festival, the President’s Scholarship Reception, and dinner with new friends at participating restaurants in Olympia.

Enjoy alumni specials at participating establishments.

Meet old friends and make new ones

Member of the Faculty David Muehleisen reconnects with old students at Return to Evergreen in 2013 while alumni enjoy a Sauerkraut making workshop at the Evergreen Organic Farm.
