Congratulations on your RA position and welcome to the Residential and Dining Services (RAD) team!
You have taken on an important leadership role within the campus community. Resident Assistants play an integral role in providing a welcoming, safe and positive learning community for students living on campus. In RAD, we are commited to departmental values of fostering a purposeful, just and sustainable community.
This handbook is designed to serve as a resource for you throughout the year. In this handbook you will find information to assist you in the various aspects of your job, including community building, programming, duty procedures, and front desk operations. The information is intended to supplement the training you will receive in the summer, fall and throughout the year. We hope that you enjoy reading the handbook and refer back to it regularly in your role as an RA.
