Evergreen Cyber Security Club places eighth in national competition

Students from this relatively new academic club have already competed in several programming and security competitions, including the annual Cyber Security Awareness Week (CSAW) at NYU's Tandon School of Engineering. The Evergreen "GNU-E-Ducks" placed 8th out of 300 college teams in a game of virtual "capture the flag" in November 2014 (up from 33rd place in 2013, which was their first year competing in this exercise).

Evergreen Chemistry Club recognized again by American Chemical Society

The Evergreen Chemistry Club received recognition from the American Chemical Society in 2014 as a Green Chemistry Student Chapter and an Honorable Mention Chapter. Since its formation in 2003 Evergreen's Chemistry Club has earned numerous national awards.
