Evergreen Chemistry Club recognized again by American Chemical Society

The Evergreen Chemistry Club received recognition from the American Chemical Society in 2016 as an Honorable Mention Chapter. Twelve students attended the Spring National Meeting in April 2017 to receive this award. Since its formation in 2003 Evergreen's Chemistry Club has earned numerous national awards.

Evergreen Cyber Security Club places third in regional competition

Students from this academic club took third place at the 2015 Pacific Rim Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (PRCCDC). They have competed in several programming and security competitions, including the annual Cyber Security Awareness Week (CSAW) at NYU's Tandon School of Engineering, where the Evergreen "GNU-E-Ducks" placed 8th out of 300 college teams in a game of virtual "capture the flag" in November 2014.
