Bike Fest

Hope you can make it to The Evergreen State College Bike Fest on April 19th from 11 – 2! The Evergreen State College Police Department is partnering with the Washington State Traffic Safety Commission, Intercity Transit, and the Evergreen Bike Shop to bring you Bike Fest 2017! Bike Fest is happening to promote safe biking, provide an opportunity to register your bike, learn about biking opportunities on campus and in Thurston County, and meet several bicycle enthusiasts and groups in your community. The Evergreen Bike Shop will offer minor tune-ups for free, on site.

Parents Council meetings are designed to provide time to connect with other Greener parents and family members and college representatives. We discuss participation and engagement opportunities and discover areas of highest parent interest for action toward supporting student success.

Eric S. Trevan Presents at Reservation Economic Summit

The Evergreen State College Member of the Faculty Eric S Trevan PhD presented as an invited panelist at the Reservation Economic Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hosted by the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED) this event is the largest national gathering focused on Native American economic development. Eric also serves as Chairman of his Tribes economic development corporation, Gun Lake Investments, and is a Tribal citizen of the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians.

Native Pathways Program: Rebuilding Native Nations: Strategies for Governance and Development (Quinault)

This program teaches from a Native-based perspective within the context of the larger global society and is designed for students who have social, cultural, or economic ties to tribes. The curriculum addresses three themes that rotate yearly. For 2017–2018, the theme is Rebuilding Native Nations: Strategies for Governance and Development . The program equips students with foundational knowledge for working within administrative frameworks in public and governmental structures.
