Waste Reduction Cooperative Positions

Compost Coordinator

Compost is a vital component of creating a closed-loop system that minimizes waste and restores soil health, but despite Evergreen's longstanding composting program, the results of past waste audits indicate that compostable items make up the majority of the school's landfill waste.  Housing has two different composting programs, and seeks to educate residents about each of these systems and their importance to larger campus sustainability goals.  This position is ideal for someone who is interested in community outreach and agriculture.
