Student Residence Buildings - Campus Core Buildings - Organic Farm Buildings

This unit is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of mechanical systems on campus. Below are the groups within this unit and their function. To ensure that work is tracked properly and services rendered by the appropriate staff, work requests should be submitted to the work order center.

Key Issues & Access Control provides keys for all campus buildings, except Housing Facilities. Key Issues & Access Control does not supply keys for Housing facilities or dorms, to obtain Housing keys contact them at (360) 867-6132.

Key Issues & Access Control does not provide emergency unlocks or routine building locks and unlocks, contact Police Services at (360) 867-6832 for assistance with those issues.

The Service Center for work orders and information processes for Facilities Services are the responsibility of this unit. We also provide computer software support, technological implementation and a variety of map, drawing, CAD and document management services as well as managing all signs and locksmith functions.

Student Modular Housing - Campus Core Buildings - Organic Farm Buildings

The Grounds department is responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and preventive care to the campus landscape and exterior facilities in order to provide an attractive, safe and well maintained outdoor environment for our community. This includes mowing, fertilizing, weeding, planting, pruning, maintaining lawns, trees, plants and shrubs, construction and repair of landscape additions, installation and maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems, collection and transportation of campus recycling and refuse, maintenance of roads, walks and parking lots.

Engineering Services provides support for many Facilities Services projects. Rich Davis serves as the Facilities Engineer. He has worked at Evergreen since 1994, having a background in mechanical engineering consulting and work at two California school districts (assistant director of maintenance and energy/utilities engineer). He is a licensed professional engineer and attorney in the state of Washington, and holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Oregon State University and a juris doctor from Seattle University.

Jeanne Rynne is the Director of Facilities Services.
