Fall Check-In Information
Fall Check-In is available for all residents Saturday, September 21, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Please make sure you bring your room number from your Evergreen Assignment email (sent in early September) so you know where to check in. Follow the directions to F parking lot where you will check in by signing your contract and receiving your keys. Expect a brief wait in F lot before being directed to an unloading area near your room or apartment. We ask that you unload quickly (staff will be available to help you), move your belongings inside, and then move your car to parking lot C. (If you will be bringing more than one vehicle with belongings, please arrive in F lot at the same time so you can be queued up together. If you will be bringing more than one vehicle with family or friends to help you but without belongings, please coordinate your arrival so those parking in C lot have time to walk to Housing to assist you).
If you will be living in the Mods (your housing assignment begins with M, for example M-304), follow the signs and check in at the Mods.
If you arrive between 4 and 6 p.m. on Saturday, you can check in at the Residential Services Office, located on the 3rd floor of A building, see maps from links noted below. Check ins after 6 p.m. are not available unless you make arrangements in advance with the Residential and Dining Services office.
DIRECTIONS TO CAMPUS
Whether you are coming from the north (Seattle, SeaTac Airport) or south (Portland), take I-5 to Exit 104, and follow Highway 101 to the third exit (The Evergreen State College). As you exit, stay to your left, and travel two miles on the Evergreen Parkway, past the main entrance to campus (a round about), and take a left onto Overhulse Dr. Overhulse T’s at Driftwood, take a left and proceed forward to F lot. (If you are a Mod resident follow the same directions but you will turn left off Driftwood directly into Modular Housing). Helpful maps can be found here: www.evergreen.edu/rad/directions.htmIf you’re not arriving by car, either the bus or airport shuttle have stops near A building that are walking distance to the F lot check in. Check with your transportation provider for exact stops, or call if you have additional questions.
Parking on Check In day is unique. After you have checked in and unloaded your belongings, you should park in C parking lot. F parking lot space will be available after 5 p.m. on Check In day. Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday September 23 you will need to pay to park in all lots on campus. More information about parking can be found at www.evergreen.edu/parking Parking Services staff will be available on Check In Day in the Library at the Utilities and Services Fair on Saturday.
