Most of the people who work in the CRC are students at Evergreen. If you are interested in working with us, please apply!

Students work at the welcome desk and equipment checkout, supervising the climbing room, and as lifeguards and class instructors. Our student employees have a great work environment that’s flexible around class schedules.

We’re always accepting applications through CODa. Most of the year, we hire as needed when positions become open.

At the end of spring quarter, we re-hire for all student staff positions. Apply in June for calls and interviews in July. Positions are filled in early August. If you are hired, you'll need to come in for mandatory training the week before Orientation Week.

Work-study is preferred but not required.

Operations

Operations staff work at the welcome desk and equipment checkout, as well as serving as general attendants. Operations Assistants may have opportunities to work on event planning and promotion as well.

Weight room or recreation experience, either work-related or as a participant, is helpful but not required. We want to be able to help you gain a first solid work experience.

Aquatics

Always accepting applications. Lifeguards and swimming instructors. Swim instructors must be able to swim, demonstrate, and teach four main competitive strokes. Lifeguards need CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding certifications.

Recreation Classes and Instructors

When we’re looking for instructors, it's on CODa. Turn in a resume and cover letter demonstrating your skills in the class you want to teach.
