Hope Island Paddling Overnight

Let’s go paddling! Hope Island State Park is a 106-acre marine camping park North of Evergreen in the Puget Sound. This quiet island is reachable only by boat. Covered with old-growth forests and saltwater marshes, the park features a beach one-and-a-half miles long. Join The Outdoor Program as we load up our camping supplies into sea kayaks (optional rental boats and equipment are covered by the trip fee) and paddle into our beautiful island camp for the night. No prior paddling experience necessary, trained staff will be leading the trip and making sure everyone has a safe trip, veterans and new kayakers alike. Bring a sack lunch and any personal snacks you may want. Other meals are provided and covered by the trip fee.
