Sherman Creek Interpretive Day Trip

“One of the best hiking options in the 90,000-acre Capitol State Forest, the Sherman Creek Loop travels up and down two visually appealing valleys … miles of tranquil woods and creekside walking and some historic relics from the golden age of logging.” –Washington Trails Association

Join TOP Staff on a delightful ramble through one of the gems of our local trails. The path is mostly flat and meanders for about 9 miles following Sherman Creek. Trip Leader Zach Moore will be sharing his broad knowledge of everything from bird watching to hunting for exotic fungi and will provide plenty of opportunities for learning and exploration on this classic walkabout. Bring a sack lunch for on the trail!
