Phoenix Rising Scholarship
Due Date: February 1
Keep this scholarship funded for future generations.
Offered to a new or currently enrolled female student who is a survivor of domestic abuse or sexual assault. The applicant must demonstrate academic promise. Preference will be given to a student demonstrating financial need.
The intent of this scholarship is to create an opportunity for women to become more educated, and to help them become more whole as members of our community and our world. It will help provide a more holistic than traditional approach to healing, just as Evergreen is a more holistic approach to higher education. The Phoenix Rising Scholarship will be given to women who have not abandoned the dreams of their childhoods, women who know that strength comes from living, and that while life may not always be fair or just, it is filled with possibilities.
