Saturday & Sunday, September 19-20

The opening weekend of Orientation Week has been designed to acquaint your family and friends with the college. Over these two days, they will have opportunities to talk with parents of currently enrolled Evergreen students, tour the campus, and participate in workshops and special interest sessions. A special brunch will feature Evergreen President Thomas Purce, Vice President Art Costantino and Academic Dean, Eddy Brown. The start of your academic career in higher education is important not only for you, but also for those who will support you over the years.

This week is filled with carefully planned activities and events in academic and social venues, all of which will bring you into contact with other students, faculty and staff.

Dear New Students, Family and Friends

On behalf of the Evergreen community, we would like to extend a warm welcome to you. We are pleased that you will be joining our student body in the fall. There is much to learn about Evergreen, and we are committed to helping you become more familiar with academic and campus life.

New Student Orientation Week is designed to introduce you to the programs, people, and places that make up the Evergreen community.

The week will launch your academic career by assisting you in understanding the unique approaches to learning and teaching at Evergreen, as well as the ins and outs of college life and the rich resources of the College. The week is filled with carefully plannned activities and events in academic and social venues, all of which will bring you into contact with other new students as well as continuing students, faculty and staff.
