Student-Originated Studies: Individual Projects in Music
This program is designed to support upper-division students who are ready for intensive work on individual music project.
Each student should prepare a 10-week plan of their project, and confirm it with the faculty (Arun Chandra, arunc@evergreen.edu) before the start of fall quarter (Sept. 28, 2020). During these conversations, we'll work out the credit breakdown for the project, along with reading material, expected deadlines, etc.
Please get in touch with me this summer, and we'll work on preparing your plan.
Assuming a group of 24 students, we will break into four-groups, with six students in each group.
Each group will meet twice a week, for two hours each time, one meeting with the faculty, and one meeting on their own.
Additional common readings will be provided by the faculty.
