Glassman began touring experimental compositions in 1971-1986 as a founding member of United Mime Workers experimental theatre collective, then 1984-1994 with the Performers' Workshop Ensemble, and 1991-present with Lisa Fay and Jeff Glassman Duo, touring in the US, Eastern and Western Europe, Mexico, Cuba, and South Korea.  The Fay|Glassman Duo is currently in long-term creative residency at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts developing new work, and in collaboration with Korean performance artist Yu Jin Gyu.

Interests: Composition of counter-natural behavior on stage, techniques for scenes of ethically charged human social movement and gesture, system-like composition for theatre, learning theory from craft, artifice, humor, and uncanny coordination.
