Leonard Schwartz

Leonard Schwartz teaches poetry and literary arts. His interest lies in the intersection of poetry and philosophy. A poet and essayist, he produces and hosts the radio program, “Cross Cultural Poetics.” He is the author of If (Talisman House, 2012), At Element (Talisman House, 2011), A Message Back and Other Furors (Chax Press, 2008), The Library of Seven Readings (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2008), and Language as Responsibility (Tinfish Editions, 2006). He obtained his MA in philosophy from Columbia University and his BA in Writing and Literature from Bard College.
