While most students won't be moving onto campus, Orientation for winter quarter admits has already begun and we are excited to support you as the new year begins!

All incoming Evergreen students are expected to participate fully in New Student Orientation, which is designed to welcome you to the College. Over the course of these sessions, we will introduce you to our unique approach to education as well as to a variety of resources. Orientation has been redesigned for Spring 2021 and will be conducted remotely. Please plan to participate fully in Orientation—it will make a difference for you!

Orientation will consist of two required steps:

Step 1: Online Tutorial

All new students will complete a self-paced online tutorial through Canvas. This tutorial will teach you how to navigate the tools, resources, and processes you will encounter as a Greener. Upon completion of the tutorial, you will be prepared to select and register for your winter quarter program or Path.

You should be able to access this tutorial immediately by logging into Canvas using your evergreen username and password. Select the course called New Winter and Spring Admits 2021.

Step 2: Virtual Orientation Session - Sign Up for One Option Below

Before you register for your first quarter, you will need to attend one of our online orientation sessions. Please choose a date and sign up using one of the links below.

Here is also some helpful information from Academic and Career Advising:

  • New Student Checklist (PDF) can help you stay on track.
