In recent years, approximately $8,750 was distributed among several admitted applicants and current students from the MiT program.

Criteria:

• Primary consideration based on unique, life experience that has brought the student to the MiT program and conditions demonstrating a commitment to a career in teaching.

• Secondary consideration given to financial need.

Required:

• A separate letter of intent not to exceed two (2) pages, addressed to the name of the scholarship, Selection Committee, c/o Maggie Foran, Associate Director, Master in Teaching Program.
