Michael hails originally from NYC, by way of being stuck in the flat, frigid, and arid Midwest for 15 years. At Evergreen, he works one-on-one with all types of writers in writing, literature, and mathematics. At home, he gardens, cooks, makes furniture, makes art, and studies film. He was runner up for GQ’s Watermelon Head Man of the Year for the last four years in a row, narrowly beat out by Jude Law in 2012.
