Allyson Brooks
Dr. Allyson Brooks is the currently the Director of the WA Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation and the State Historic Preservation Officer. Previously, Dr. Brooks was an archaeologist for the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Prior to going to Minnesota she was the staff archaeologist for the South Dakota Historic Preservation Office. She holds a Ph.D. in anthropology from University of Nevada, a MPA from the University of Washington, a Certificate in environmental regulation from the University of Washington, an M Sc. in industrial and historical archaeology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, and a BA from McGill University in Montreal Canada.
Dr. Brooks has been President of the League of Women Voters of Thurston County, on the board of the Thurston County Dispute Resolution Center and is currently President of the Board of Temple Beth Hatfiloh. She has taught historic and environmental law for the National Preservation Institute around the United States to federal employees, tribal staff and environmental consultants.

Karen Fraser
Karen Fraser is a lifelong Washingtonian and Puget Sound-area resident. She retired from a prestigious public service career that includes serving in the Washington Senate for 24 years, being a State Representative, Thurston County Commissioner, President of the Washington State Association of Counties, Lacey Mayor and City Council Member and staff member for the Legislature and several state agencies.

Fred Goldberg
Fred Goldberg was appointed to the Board of Trustees by Gov. Jay Inslee March 20, 2013. A philanthropist, Army veteran, banker and entrepreneur, Fred helped found Saltchuk Resources, a global logistics company, currently the largest private company in Washington State.

Pam MacEwan is an Evergreen alumnus and recently retired from her role as CEO of the Washington Health Benefit Exchange. Previously, she was Senior Vice President for Public Affairs at Group Health and Commissioner on the State Health Services Commission.

Miguel Pérez-Gibson

Miguel Pérez-Gibson is a licensed mental health counselor and has a private counseling practice in Olympia. He has also had a long and varied career in Washington State Government and has been an independent lobbyist and advocate for Tribes, Environmental Groups and Latino Community advocates.

Kristopher Peters
Kristopher Peters is the Chairman of the Squaxin Island Tribe. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis on Federal Indian Law and Tribal Governance and a Master of Public Administration degree from The Evergreen State College.

Ed Zuckerman
Vice Chair
Ed Zuckerman has worked in the environmental advocacy and political space since he graduated from Evergreen and before retiring in 2019. From 2007 to 2019 he served as a Senior Vice-President at the League of Conservation Voters, and prior to that he was the Executive Director of the Federation of State Conservation Voter Leagues and Washington Conservation Voters respectively.
