AIANTA Tourism & Hospitality Scholarship

The American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association (AIANTA) Tourism and Hospitality Scholarship is available for undergraduate or graduate American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian students who are working toward a degree in hospitality, museum studies, tourism, recreation, culinary arts, or related fields. Applicants must show documentation that they are of American Indian, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian descent and submit a 500 word essay. SWANA offers a variety of scholarships to undergraduate students, with awards ranging from $1,500 to $5,000. Applicants must be a SWANA student member or the child or grandchild of a SWANA member. The Vasquez Law Firm DACA Dreamer Scholarship is available for DACA recipients pursuing higher education in the U.S. The finalist will receive $1,000 to use for educational expenses. A scholarship for this upcoming Fall 2024 semester is available to incoming freshman students who have overcome significant challenges in their lives. The Bihm Firm, LLC Conflict Conqueror Scholarship is worth $1,000 and can be used toward tuition, room and board, and other educational expenses.

Industrial Metal Service Scholarship

Industrial Metal Service are offering a one-time scholarship reward of $1000 to one outstanding university student. The scholarship requires students to create and submit a 300-word essay describing one of the following topics: Innovative Uses of Recycled Metals in Design and Construction, The Role of Metals in Sustainable Development, The Impact of Metal 3D Printing on Manufacturing, or Metals in Renewable Energy Technologies. Boster Bio are offering an annual scholarship of $1000 to each of two deserving students. This scholarship requires the students to write at least 500 words essay: Explain your reason(s) for applying for a scholarship and why you feel you should receive one. Stromberg’s Chicken $1000 Scholarship

The Stromberg’s Chicken scholarship provides a one-time reward of $1000 to pay for tuition, books, computers, accommodation, or any education-related expense. There’s no GPA requirement and no application forms, only an essay requirement. This scholarship will be open to both undergrad and graduate students attending any accredited college university within the United States, as well as high school seniors who will be attending classes in 2024.

Since 1989, community residents have utilized us to make their charitable gifts more effective. We provide maximum flexibility in establishing, managing, and distributing your gifts.

Each year, donors who have trusted the foundation to manage their funds provide scholarship support for students planning to pursue post-secondary educational opportunities—both academic and vocational. Honoring guidelines set by the donors, committees comprised of high school counselors, college financial aid professionals, community volunteers and Foundation board members review the scholarship applications and select award recipients.

Pride also recognizes students who may not be gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender, but who have contributed to the LGBT community. These may be the children of LGBT parents, or just friends of our community whose leadership skills we want to foster.

Hill and Ponton are now offering four $1,000 scholarships to help veterans further their education and enter a career field that would, in turn, help other veterans. The General Henry H. Arnold Education Grant program, also known as the Hap Arnold Grant, is the centerpiece of AFAS education support. The application process for the Arnold Education Grant serves as the platform for other key education support opportunities at the Society. The Hap Arnold Grant is competitive in its need-based selection criteria and is uniquely tailored to recognize the proper weighing of family income and education costs. Grants ranging from $500 to $4,000 are awarded to eligible Air Force and Space Force dependents each year. The specific amount awarded correlates to a student’s particular level of financial need.

Hope For The Warriors Spouse / Caregiver Scholarship Program celebrates and rewards the spouses and caregivers of post-9/11 veterans for their strength, fidelity and resolve as they take on new and critical roles after experiencing the impact of war on their families. Since 2006, the Spouse/Caregiver Scholarship Program has awarded over 140 scholarships totaling more than $412,000. These scholarships provide aid in continuing education at reputable, accredited universities, colleges or trade schools.

The Benjamin Gilman International Scholarship

The Gilman International Scholarship Program offers a competition for awards for undergraduate study abroad and was established by the International Academic Opportunity Act of 2000. This scholarship provides awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving federal Pell Grant funding at a 2-year or 4-year college or university to participate in study abroad programs worldwide.

First Trip Scholarship

For students leaving the U.S. for the first time

First Trip Scholarship

First Trip scholarships are available for college students who have never left the United States. Applicants must classify as a "student" at their college, regardless of part-time or full-time status, and be pursuing a college facilitated trip in a First Trip eligible destination. Awardees are asked to submit brief testimonials of their first experience abroad. The First Trip Application has no essay or GPA requirement.
