Join the library for an opening reception for a display of lidART: works of art created by lidar. Lidar is a remote sensing technology that uses millions of laser pulses to measure and quantify vegetation, trees, geomorphology, hydrology, and the human world. This technology has transformed how we study the natural world. It also happens to create stunning works of art.
Sponsored by Evergreen faculty Jonathan Batchelor (they/them) and the library display and exhibition committee.
