In this interdisciplinary inquiry, students will examine those personal, historical, psychological, educational, and community - isms, assumptions, and worldviews that have become dysfunctional, degenerative, and detrimental, and explore ways to ra-imagine and give them new life. In this course, students will develop understandings about natural cycles, ancestral wisdom, fixed and growth mindsets, comparative worldviews, optimum psychology, African-centered pedagogical practices, and skills in autobiographical reflection and social media creation. Students will then apply their learning to producing an allegory that ra-stores truth to their chosen field of interest, be it psychology, education, organization, or community development.
