In “Community, Culture, and Cosmos: Regeneration meets Reimagination” students will engage with themes and philosophies pertaining to regenerative practices by reimagining community, culture, and cosmos through a critical Indigenous lens. Drawing from Indigenous philosophies and scholarship, as well as various forms of art and media, students will explore the key elements of relationality of place, plants, and people; justice and liberation through regenerative and reimaginative practices; and creative expressions bridging Indigenous ways of knowing with a future that recognizes ecosystems are the original culture and all cultures are ecosystems. Students will have the opportunity to creatively present strength-based reimagined futures through original projects based in research, writing, art, and/or media.
