Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is often seen as a one-time intervention that leaves an organization with few answers, more questions, and dissatisfaction. In this course, participants will learn how to assess current levels of DEI in organizations, how to develop and implement effective programs and interventions, and how to assess for success. Students will explore different methods of assessment including surveys and interviews as well as how to provide actionable feedback, develop and implement comprehensive evaluations of an organization's commitment to DEI, and review practices, policies, and training programs. Students will develop strategies for implementing DEI programming appropriate for the level of development in an organization or setting. They will develop the necessary skills for self-assessment and evaluating organizational and leadership satisfaction with interventions.
