Our overall goal is to enable students to prepare to create and lead major advocacy campaigns at the state and local levels across the full cycle of campaigns, elections, and law- and budget-making legislative sessions. In the years ahead, creative, constructive legislative and local advocacy will be essential to redress long-standing socio-economic inequities and to navigate the realities of the highly polarized politics which are reshaping public policy priorities and realigning constituent interests.
