In today's dynamic business environment, characterized by rapid change, complexity, and ongoing disruptions, the ability to lead agile and high-performing teams has become essential for organizational success. This course equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate these challenges and foster team effectiveness. Students will explore key theories and concepts related to team dynamics, as well as practical strategies and tools for enhancing team performance in the workplace. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the critical factors that contribute to high-performance teams, including group dynamics, motivation, communication, trust-building, and conflict resolution.
Through a blend of engaging seminars, interactive group activities, thought-provoking discussions, and case analyses, students will develop their critical and reflective thinking skills. The course culminates in a final paper and presentation, allowing students to synthesize their learning and demonstrate their ability to apply concepts in real-world scenarios.
This course is delivered entirely online, featuring live class meetings conducted via Zoom on Saturdays. In addition to these interactive sessions, students will engage in independent learning activities through the Canvas platform.
