This course involves travel to the Western Psychological Association (WPA) conference in Las Vegas, Nevada (May 1-4, 2025) which attracts 3000+ students and professionals of psychology. It showcases the topics and cutting edge research in all areas of psychology. Many events are specifically geared towards helping students network and learn what is needed to succeed in a career in psychology.

Requirements for the course are attending a planning meeting, attending 20 hours of presentations (minimum) during the conference, and writing a paper about your conference activities after the conference. At the beginning of Spring Break, students who are enrolled will be contacted by email about conference registration.

$115 covers conference registration

Transportation, lodging, and food for the WPA conference (approximately $700). Students will be expected to arrange their own travel, lodging, and meals.
