This course explores the interdisciplinary use of quantitative reasoning and statistics to analyze social and environmental topics. Course content focuses on enhancing students' proficiency in quantitative research design, encompassing data collection and analysis techniques. Students will develop skills to critically analyze quantitative information from research articles, media reports, and other sources, as well as accurately calculate and interpret both descriptive and inferential statistics.
