Sports Information Director

Contact and location

I'm privileged to serve as a new adjunct faculty member and Interim Sports Information Director. In collaboration with Dr. Andrew Buchman, I co-teach the Audio Software Design course, designed to empower musicians, composers, and audio engineering students to create their own interactive, real-time, audio software tools, even without a formal background in computer science. Our course equips students with the skills to develop audio plugins and stand-alone applications using the innovative open-source HISE environment. In addition to teaching, I oversee the creation of digital and print media for the college's athletic department, manage live sporting events, and maintain the athletics website. I took a break in my five years of working at the college to design, develop, and market the music software product, GAZE, for the British music software company, Spitfire Audio, in 2022.

Teaching Style

I am eager to enhance the learning experience by incorporating high-impact computer graphics that utilize motion and light to captivate student attention. It is crucial to not only offer a diverse range of topics and learning experiences throughout the class but also to emphasize the historical context of the technology we're exploring. This approach provides a deeper understanding of the subject matter, allowing students to appreciate the evolution and impact of these technologies over time.
