River chose Evergreen because of "the close and personal connection with faculty, small class sizes, strong opportunities for experimental learning and access to facilities, the ability to peruse my diverse interests. And exceptional value, being a public liberal arts school."
River's favorite thing about Evergreen is "how open and friendly my peers, teammates, faculty, and the staff I interact with are."
"[After graduation] I hope to continue my education with graduate school while continuing to pursue opportunities as a professional musician and audio engineer."
