Washington Legislative Internship

Learn about the State of Washington Legislative Internship Program for the next legislative session (January-March). Students of all academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

This is your opportunity to gain paid work experience and academic credit.

The Washington State Legislative Internship Program offers Washington college students the opportunity to gain paid work experience while studying the state legislative process and learning about public policy. During the in-program internship, which takes place in winter and spring quarters, interns work for members of the Washington State House of Representatives or Senate and with legislative staff while earning academic credit from Evergreen.
