Enrollment and Degree Verification

Registration and Records generates enrollment verification certificates through the National Student Clearinghouse.

Enrollment Verification For Students

Current Quarter Enrollment Verification

Current (and some former) Evergreen students can download a free, electronic enrollment verification instantly via the Student Clearinghouse Self-Service link in the Registration menu of My Evergreen.

If you believe that the enrollment verification certificate you have downloaded from the National Student Clearinghouse does not contain sufficient information for the entity requesting proof of enrollment, email Registration and Records at registration@evergreen.edu. Please be sure to include:

  • Your name
  • Student ID #
  • Date of birth
  • The National Student Clearinghouse Enrollment Verification Certificate you downloaded through the link on My Evergreen
  • A statement as to why this form is not sufficient for the entity requiring proof of enrollment
  • Fax number, mailing or email address where you wish the certification letter be sent

Future Quarter Certificate of Registration

Evergreen enrollment is only officially verified through National Student Clearinghouse once the quarter has begun. If you require documentation showing you are enrolled for a quarter that has not yet started, you may request a pre-registration letter by emailing registration@evergreen.edu. Please be sure to include:

  • Your name
  • Student ID #
  • Date of birth
  • Specific requirements your recipient has regarding your proof of enrollment
  • Fax number, mailing or email address where you wish the certification letter be sent

Verification for Third Parties

Evergreen students may provide a copy of their National Student Clearinghouse Enrollment Verification certificate to any entity requesting proof of enrollment or a verification may be purchased from the National Student Clearinghouse.

Degree Certification

Certification for Evergreen Graduates

Graduates of Evergreen will not be able to receive a degree certificate through the National Student Clearinghouse. Other options include:

  • Requesting an official transcript. Your degree is listed on your transcripts.
  • Emailing Registration and Records at registration@evergreen.edu to receive one. Please be sure to include:
    • Your name
    • Student ID #
    • Date of birth
    • A mailing or email address where you wish the degree certification be sent

Certification for Third Parties

Evergreen students may provide a copy of their official transcript to any entity requesting proof of a degree. Third party entities may request degree verification through the National Student Clearinghouse (a nominal fee applies).
